China-Arab States Expo (hereinafter referred to as CAS EXPO) is a national-level exposition approved by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the People’s Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. CAS EXPO is a significant international and opening platform which attracts full participation of both China and Arab States and Muslim Countries. During the last three sessions of the Fair & Forum, 76 countries, regions and international organizations, over 5000 domestic and foreign enterprises, more than 30000 guests and businessmen have participated in the event, 478 investment and cooperation projects were signed with a total investment beyond RMB 250 billion.
Aim to 22 Arab League member states and extend to 57 Islamic Countries and build five platforms between China and Arab states on commodity trade, service trade, technical cooperation, financial investment, cultural and educational tourism through the comprehensive cooperation in key fields as energy, finance, Halal food, Muslim commodities, agriculture, culture and tourism.
2013 China-Arab States Expo is drafted to be held from September 12th to 16th, 2013, in Ningxia, P.R.China. Series of forums, exhibitions and investment negotiations will be launched which focus on bilateral cooperation on bilateral cooperation on energy, finance, Halal food, Muslim commodities, agriculture, culture and tourism. Improve trade matching and actual effects and reinforce exchanges between China and participating countries to larger-scale, wider area and higher level. Meanwhile, another exhibition sponsored by Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) will be held in Ningxia at the same time.
